DU Cruise stateroom gift?

Hi, does anyone know if DU has done away with this? When we first booked our cruise for 2/2004, it said that if 8 people booked a stateroom, there would be a gift in our stateroom and it kept a current count of how many had booked for our cruise via DU. It has hit the 8 and the note said we would get the gift (as long as the # stayed above 8 between now and cruise time).

however, I was checking on something on my ressie today, and that note is no longer showing on our reservations??? Any idea???

Good question! I just checked our reservation and the statement is gone also. We had 14 rooms shown thru DU on our cruise date, and 8 of them were our family, so I know there are still at least 8 reservations on our date! Hopefully someone else has the answer

WebmasterJohn advised that DCL is currently changing the way it handles the free gift for multiple staterooms.

If your DCL reservation is throught Dreams Unlimited (DU), then you can check it at the Dreams Unlimited website. You'll need the DU reservations number and your password.

Thanks, I will have to wait for my ressie to come to get a password. We don't sail until Feb. and I think they send your stuff out 90 days before that. Is that correct? Joni

Oh not at all. If you booked your cruise thorugh DU you should have a reservations number from them. If you don't, then e-mail the your DU agent. My cruise is not until October 25 and I check on my reservation through DU's website once a week or so.

BUT .... if you just booked directly through DCL that is an entirely other case. I know you used to be able to pull up reservation information directly on DCL's website, but I am not sure if that is still possible. In that case you should check with DCL if you booked through them and didn't transfer your booking to a travel agent.

We just got back, DU sent n/a champagne, truffles, various sweets, and Chocolate covered strawberries!!! Very nice!
