DTD to the parks?

Are there buses from DTD to any of the parks, or would I need to take a bus to a resort and transfer? We are considering dinner at DTD and then MGM fo Fantasmic and EMH. Thanks for your help!

There are no direct DTD busses to the parks. You will need to take a bus to a Resort & then transfer.

Parking is free at DTD and Disney does not want to encourage park goers to park there for the day while they are at the parks.

FWIW, you are better off at paying the extra to park at the park than to waste a lot of time trying to catch 2 busses.

At DTD you will need to get on bus to the TTC (transportation center) to pick up the MGM bus which will take you right to the park's entrance. It's a bit of a process and not very time efficient. Have you thought about making an AR for an MGM eatery? You'd be right in the park and ready for Fantazmic. Suggestions: Mama Melrose, Sci Fi, The Brown Derby.
Save DTD for another time when you can eat and shop there without needing to get to a Park. Timing may be a big issue for all the connections. and you'd be spending alot of prime park time in busses.

For the same reason there are no busses between parks and DTD, there are no busses between DTD and TTC. I know at least one of the transportation wizard web sites has this as an option but it is out of date by at least 3 years.

Just take a bus from DTD to the BWV/BWI or to the Swan/DOlphin resorts. From there you can walk to the Sudios or you can grab the boat. I'd walk - it's faster. Allow about an hour to get from DTD to the Studios .

P.S. Given your plans and the reports of how crowded EMH has been, it might be better to plan dinner somewhere in the Studios that evening and save the DTD dinner for another time.
