DTD on Thanksgiving Day?

Does anyone know if Downtown Disney is open on Thanksgiving Day? We were thinking of using that as our "day off" from the parks, as the wall to wall people I keep hearing about seem less "festive" than lying around by the pool did. Now that the weather forecast is a bit chillier, I'm trying to come up with other fun ideas. We have breakfast at Chef Mickey's, but I was wondering if DTD was open that day -- I could knock out a LOT of shopping . . . .

Thanks for any info you might have!! I'm just a little too excited . . . again! Is it an illness to get more and more excited about going to Disney the more you go to Disney?

Hi Heather! I would assume that DTD is open on TG day. We are hitting MK, since they have the a.m. EMH , then we were hoping to go back for a swim, but you are saying it will be cool? I will have to pop over and check the weather forcast! lol. Or we might end up in DTD with ya! LOL

DTD is definitely open on Thanksgiving. My sister is a CM there and she will be working.

We will also be at MK for EMH on Thanksgiving morning and then plan on leaving to look at resorts and go to DTD. I'll have something lime green on me, so if you see me, give me a yell.

We are also going to EMH at MK on Thanksgiving day. When it gets too crowded we will leave and do some resort hopping. I can't wait to see all of the Christmas displays at the resorts. Then at 2 we have ADRs for Fultons in DTD.
