DTD on Christmas Day?

I'm deciding what to do on Christmas Day. I don't really want to deal with the huge crowds at MK. One of our family traditions is to go to a movie on Christmas afternoon. I thought it might be fun to do some resort hopping and catch a movie.

Has anyone ever been to DTD on Christmas Day? Was it crazy busy? Would we be able to catch a movie at the theatre?

I'm open to any suggestions here!

We did it one year on xmas day and included Disneyquest. The movie theater and DTD were busy but not bad. We arrived at Disneyquest when it opened and it was pretty slow for most of the time we were in there.

You are smart to stay out of the parks as they are jamm packed.
