DTD/Nightlife in CA?

Hi all! My DH...the lucky man that he is...is headed to Anaheim for the Rite Aid Trade Show...September 7th to the 10th. I am not sure yet what hotel they will be staying at. I do see that most of the hotels are within walking distance of the convention center and the DL resorts. I also know that Rite Aid is paying for them to spend one evening in the parks. Don't know what day, and don't know if it is after regular hours or during.

My question is....where is DTD located and are there any other places near there that they can hang out at? DH is looking for something similar to CityWalk? Or maybe a resturant row with a few bars? Getting a rental car for the evening IS a possibliity.

Any suggestions are GREATLY appreciated!

DTD is right next to Disneyland and DCA and just steps away from both parks. It's a GREAT place for nightlife...good restaurants, a House of Blues, an ESPN Zone with a huge game area upstairs, shopping, movie theatre, etc. There's live jazz at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen (great food too). They definitely should plan on spending the evening there; there is no need to rent a car to drive somewhere else.

If you take a look at this photo , DTD is the area roughly between the Disneyland Hotel and the Grand Californian Hotel.

THANK YOU WMMichelle and Grog! That is just what I was looking for! I am sure they will just stay at DTD then. Any idea of what the hours might be at that time of year? I would assume that they would be open until at least 11...allowing for them to go over nearly every evening after planned activities, but just wonder if they might be open later...say 2am? Thanks again!

Although the stores close earlier, much of DTD does stay open until 2:00 am.
