DTD garage opening soon

Disney has notified DTD cm's that they will be able to park in the new West Garage beginning 11/2/14.

I haven't seen anything saying that it will also be opening to Guests at that time. The DTD Guide Map still says "Early 2015," but that could be just another case of Disney overstating wait times.

This opening is only for CM's and my understanding is that they will only be able to use the ground floor. There is a still a lot of work left to be done before the garages are ready for guests.

I suspected that might be the case, except it says cm's still may be required to park offsite on some days. Why would cm's be sent elsewhere, unless Disney is thinking of opening the garage to Guests, at least partially?

DD is a DTD CM. She was told that the garage will be ready for them to park next week but will not be done yet in terms of it's "intelligent parking guidance system". They probably want to make sure the system is up and working before letting guests park there.
