DTD and Construction ?

We have an ADR at DTD and will be coming from WL. Does anyone have suggestions on the best way to get to DTD given all the construction and parking issues? We don't even arrive at the hotel until around 5:30 and our reservation is for 8 p.m.

Agreed. Taxi. We took one in September and it was the best decision we made all trip!

Thinking of doing this... Have two evenings at DtD booked (Raglan and Fultons.) What is the procedure do you just call for one or have resort call? Are they usually just waiting at DtD? Never used taxi before at WDW, any knowledge helpful.

How bad/how long would the bus trip be from DTDto CR? We only need one-way transit...trying to figure whether a taxi is better than bus.

Last October, the bus took 1hr 10min. to get from DTD to BWV.

I think construction is scheduled until 2016. There probably won't be much improvement by the end of the month. As PP have noted, it's often a long ride to/from DTD. I would guess a cab would be in the neighborhood of $15-$20.
