Thinking about taking my Canon 6D to Blizzard Beach on my next trip.

No, I do NOT intend on videoing selfies of myself on the water slide! (at least not with the Canon 6D...) :thumbsup2

However I think some shots from the top of Summit Plummet would be cool. The problem is I think I have to be in line and near the top to get the really good views (I've never been there so I'm speculating) and there's no way I'm taking the 6D down the slide with me! My other thought is to take my Canon Elph or my iPhone and a ziplock baggy, take the photos then seal it up before going down.

What do you guys do for photography at the waterparks? (I'll definitely be getting a locker to keep my camera stuff in and probably only take one lens...)

I took mine to Typhoon Lagoon and luckily with my situation I was able to keep it with us most of the day since we had our home base in the kiddie area and stashed it in the stroller when not needed. Later int he day I put it in a locker when we all went around the lazy river. I would bring mine again but now would enjoy the day and go on the slides and then later in the day walk around doing some photography
