DS8 broken arm, WDW in 2 weeks! Advice?

Well, some good news. I did call Dr. to inquire about the waterproof cast. He said "no", BUT he said we could come back a couple of days before we leave (which is two weeks from tomorrow) and he'd see if he might be ready for a removable splint. That would allow him to take it off to bathe and possible to at least take a dip in the pool, although the dr. said he couldn't actually swim or put pressure on the arm much. Sounds like a better option than a plaster cast though!
