DS4 talking about "when you die"

I looked up nurofen. It's ibuprofen to us. Just an FYI, ibuprofen makes me totally high. Just one normal sized pill and I'm whacky. Post-op I was on 600 mg and I was hallucinating BIG-time.

How could you tell?

So honestly I'd watch it with the ibuprofen, because maybe the drug caused this.

My DS4 used to be scared of "the witch", we don't know which witch he's talking about or who he thinks the witch is.
My brother lives far away and visited earlier this year, my DS used to freak out really badly when he heard a certain type of laugh or heard anybody mention the word witch, my brother tried to teach him not to be scared and to try and put a spell on the witch, something along the lines of "you nasty witch, i'm going to make you small, small, small", (it works, he hasn't complained of the witch lately.

Yesterday morning he crawled into my bed really early, complaining of being really hot and not feeling well, telling me he's going to "bomit".
I gave him some nurofen for his fever and he went back to sleep, upon waking later the first thing he said to me is "mum, when you die, the witch will look after me, she's friendly now".

I have no idea where this came from, and home he doesn't have some psychic power thats telling him i'm going to die he's only 4, he hadn't been near any other children since Friday, so a few days ago and i'm just baffled to where this has come from?

Have any of your children said anything like this??

Has he ever watched the Wizard of Oz?

Sounds like a 4 year old interpretation that could have been brought up again in a dream. Wicked witch of the west dies and then Glenda the Good Witch steps in and takes care of Dorothy.

My kids started talking about death early on, so I wouldn't worry to much. It is just a normal phase.

Maybe it was laced with HFCS???
