First I want to thank everybody for talking me down off the ledge. As a mom, you know I always go right to the worst scenario.
DS was charged with speeding and open containers(he had 2
). Considering he has already been to court 4 other times on speeding violations (no DUIs, though) I thought the judge was more than fair. In Georgia you're allowed to plead nolo contendre once every 5 years, so he plead nolo. That means it doens't go against his driving record and carries no points. He had to pay a $500 fine and no community service(rats!) But considering that he is currently out of work, $500 is a lotta money.
Hope he gets his act together now and doesn't make this a repeat offense.

They all have to learn their own lessons, hopefully it is without major impact.
