DS15 got an A+ in PE!

Why is this a big deal you say?! He's an honor roll student but succeeded in getting his first F in PE last year...he's THE most unathletic person in the world.... he could go days without seeing the sun.

I actually had to ask him if he paid off some jock to go to class posing as him!!!

Just had to brag!

I have a DD10 who isn't atheletic, but really tries hard. She's real smart, and has been in dance for years, but it took her 3 years of gymnastics to learn a cartwheel--you get my drift. Anyway, at the end of last year they had all the awards--she got them in music, science, math, creative writing, on and on, to the point that she was embarressed to get so many. The only one she was really proud of? The National Physical Fitness patch! She really had to work to earn it, but she did. So, I'm there with you--it's such a great feeling to have a child do well in an area that they thought they never could.

P.S. Maybe he just had to "find his sport"!

Sometimes it all depends on the teacher too....

Last year my DD's gym teacher only gave a's to the true athletic types and highest scorers on fitness tests.... So my DD got a C no matter how hard she tried.

This year my DD's teacher bases their grade on how much effort they make in class to participate.

My DD has an A this year....
