DS turning 5 at DL. Take stroller? Yes or No

It's Friday everybody. Let's chill out for a sec.

Whether or not to bring a stroller to Disneyland for your 4-5-6 year old or whatever aged child is, ultimately, up to the child(ren)'s parents. Every family is different. You know your kids better than anybody else does. People reply with their own personal experiences. With subjects like this, the phrase "Your mileage may vary" definitely applies.

So I would say...consider what everybody has said and then do what YOU feel is best for your family's needs.

Nope, not at all. Every child should be able to make his own decision. My older 2 did not need one either. But it was just them, at the time. I would of been more than happy to rent one for them though and been sad if they felt humiliated about it.
I just think when people ask for advice we should all choose words that do not have potential of being taken wrong or negatively. Some of these parents really need to feel comfortable with their decisions. Choosing words
(whether it is regarding them or your situation) like humiliation or not feeling like a Big Kid, are just not helpful.

I spoke truthfully about how *my* kid felt at that age. I did not say it was wrong for other children to feel differently. Many kids do not feel a need to show that they are big kids at an early age and that's neither better nor worse, just different. All I did was suggest to the OP that the need for a stroller is based on how her child feels, not that her child should feel like mine.

There was no judgement here until you threw it at me. I spoke about MY child and HIS feelings to offer the OP one more viewpoint and one more aspect to consider. You chose to make a snide personal attack based on that and it's pretty low to do so under the pretense of caring how other people feel. Perhaps you should choose YOUR words more carefully before you start getting NiceyNasty at others.
