DS - the walk from bus drop-off to The Boathouse

I'm taking my parents to The Boathouse in late September. We will be staying at the Contemporary and will probably take the bus, taxi or Uber to DS.

My dad is going to be recovering from unanticipated back surgery. How long is the walk from the bus drop-off point to The Boathouse?

Here is map, you can see bus depot bottom center and Boathouse is 42. It is not a bad walk, about 2/10 of a mile.
