DS Sale for Friday

For those of you who live far away from Disney Stores and have to plan your trips, the "insider info" is that the sale will be changing tomorrow, and many more things will be going down further.

The CMs at my store are pretty straighforward when I call them, and they said, "come in tomorrow. get here early if possible. stuff is going doooowwwwn".

I said, "yippee"... (however my car is in the shop as I type with an undisclosed ailment, so I'm sure this will put a damper on my yippee-ing)...

Ohh, thanks for the info. I've been trying for a week to get to the DS, but a funeral and other appts have prevented me. Tomorrow looks clear for now!

I went.
Seems like just about everything in the store was on sale.

Kids T-shirts $3.99, Princess dolls $5.99, tons of summer stuff on sale. Adult zipper sweatshirts $19.99, All mugs $5.99, Large plush $5.99, some smaller plush for $1.99 (i know they had some of the dwarfs, don't recall what else)
Princess toys were 33% off. Some toys were as much as 75% off.

I bought 4 kids t-shirts, buzz sandals, a grumpy tank top for myself, 2 princess dolls, an airiel mini playset and one of those hand held fans.. for about $60.
(by the way, the fans are really cool!, they even light up)

Back to TDS again! THis time got 2 princess dolls ($5.99) 2 kids t-shirts ($3.99) polo tigger shirt for DH ($14.99) ariel flip flops for dd ($3.99), ariel underwear for dd (50% off) 3 large 4th of July stuffed mickey, minnie and pooh ($3.99 each) small stuffed stitch ($1.99) ariel bubble (50% off) and disney dollars!! We leave in 33 days, I don't think there will be anything left at TDS that we don't have because I go every week to buy disney dollars and buy what's on sale too!!!!

This excited me:

Went over to DS to look at the sale (at 11:00 am) -- (I was supposed to be shopping for a giveaway for Vacation Bible School)

Found! Mickey Mouse Extreme Sports Mickey figure with skateboard ... reg $8.50 -- 75% off!!!!

So I got three! BECAUSE THE THEME OF OUR VBS IS EXTREME SPORTS -- HOW COOL IS THIS?!

2004 patriotic t-shirts for 75% off. $3.99 & $4.99 shirts. Mickey golf ball antenae topper for $1.50. Small fans that light up for $2.50. Tons of small plush for $1.99 and others for 75% off. The extreme sports toys originally $8.50 rang up for $2.22. PJ"S for $7.99. Beach bags with a water bottle $5.99.

Too much stuff to remember. I got a shirt, tank top, 2 fans, 2 toppers, mickey w/skateboard all for $23 including tax.

Thanks for sharing the deals you've gotten. Oh I can't wait to get off work. We won't be able to get there until about 6 or 7 tonight, I hope there's some good stuff left!

thanks for the reminder- we just got home and the kids are way happy- PJs, lounge chairs, flip flops, shirts, dresses and of course each got a toy!

Snowglobes were still $39.99, but it looks like they have a lot more of them in than when I was there earlier in the week (at least in my store).

Thanks MollyBelle- I got a ton of stuff for around $120.
I was in desparate need for summer PJs for my kids and I went WalMArt last week but I couldn't bring myself to pay $12.00 for the ugly pjs they had there. When I walked into TDS I was so happy to see great PJs for $7.99!!!
Also I got some cute swimsuits for DD for 9.99- The fact that they had princess and tinkerbell in size 12 was what got me excited more than the price- it is hard to find little girl stuff for my size 10-12 8 year old.

I got men's polo shirts for $9.99 reg $26.50. I picked up the 4 styles. I was also able to get the last BBQ MM kit for 12.25 reg 36.00. I'm going to give this as part of a bridal shower gift. that is unless it happens to be used first and I can't get it that clean again.LOL

Ugh! Sent DH to TDS today while he was getting youngest DS pics taken in the mall, and I called and reminded him to go in and look and see what was on sale. What did he get? ABSOLUTELY NOT A DARN THING! Said they didn't have anything on sale that we would use or the boys would want. Also claims there were NO patriotic Mickey t-shirts, not one in the store.

I had to work today, but I guess I'm going to have to go down there myself on Monday, after DS' dr's appt. It's an hour away from here, but only 10 minutes from the dr office. Just have to see for myself!

OK, I feel better now. I knew you guys would understand.

Okay...I went to TDS today and here is the list of items that I got:

pair of flip flops for DD
Dress for DD
2 beanies
hat for DD
3 princess balerina dolls (X-mas gifts for DD)
pair of pj's for myself
play cell phone for DD
socks for DD
Build a Pooh and Build an Eeyore (for the plane ride for DD)

all of this for $57.90!!!

DD will have lots of new things for our cruise in November!!!

I got my daughter so many outfits! Lots of Kim Possible and Lizzie McGuire. I also got alot of the Disney plush for $1.99. I got pajamas, beach towels, etc.... I love a good sale!!!!

UGGHH!!

I wish the Disney store in my mall had adult clothes....... It did have toys on sale for 50% off, kids swimsuits for $9.99, and t-shirts for $5.99. I guess each Disney store decides on its own merchandise.
