DS in the middle of the day in the heat?

Would it be crazy to go to DS in the early afternoon during our trip in a couple of weeks? We're planning mid day breaks at the resort to get out of the heat, but I really want to spend some time at DS and don't have an open evening for it. I figure we'll just be moving shop to shop, which have AC. Would it be do-able or total torture?

We were there last summer mid-day. It was too much for me, but then I'm pretty heat intolerant. Not sure where the parking is in relation to where you need to go, but there was a lot of walking just to get where we were headed.

Since it will be mid-day, and probably not as crowded, I would probably opt to take a umbrella next time to protect from the sun.

It's definitely doable. It'll be hot but there's plenty of stores and with the second parking garage now, if you want to just hang out in the marketplace you can park a lot closer. The parking garages are also a really nice bonus so you don't have to come back to a hot car

Yep, what CAS239 said. It's hot, but no different than the theme parks. All the stores are air conditioned, so you can stop anytime to cool off. We go there mid-day sometimes. The only a few stores we've found to get a little warm: First is The World of Disney. That's because the store is massive and there are throngs of people inside, so body heat really warms the place up. Even then, it's not hot inside, just not as cool. Second is the Lego store. That place is just downright hot, I don't like it...I'm not into Legos anyway. The pin trading store has no a/c, that place is pretty hot. But all the other places are nice and cool. The Christmas shop makes you feel even colder just looking at the holiday decorations.
