The other night, a while after pitching a fit, DS told me he didn't want to go to DLR. Mind you, he has no idea we are going end of the year. We've just said we would go when they were older. I asked him why he didn't want to go. He said, "well, I don't fink I'd like it." So I asked what didn't he think he would like -- meeting Mickey Mouse, going on Peter Pan or IASW, seeing the ducks. And a big grin crept over his face. So he snuggled down in bed and asked me to stay and talk about DLR for a while. So I answered his questions ("is there a t-rex there?" -- yes, but he's hidden in a special place; "are there crocodiles?" -- yes, in two places I think but they aren't real (he was disappointed in that being a bloodthirsty little boy)). He finally got sleepy and I was dismissed.
Cue last night, when after I put him to bed, he appears on the stairs and asks "mommy, could you come talk with me about Disneyland again please?"
Kid's a DLR fan without having stepped foot in DLR.
