DS Games

MY DGS has a DS and would like some games for Christmas. He only has the DS, not the 3DS. Can anyone tell me the best place to buy games? This is one gaming system that we have never had at our house, so I don't know much about it.

DD9 only has a regular DS too. Games are getting harder and harder to find as most new games coming out are only for 3DS. Some games can still be found at most stores (Walmart Target ToysRUs etc). We often find a better selection at Game Stop, but they are used.

Just wanna chime in with the fact that you can only purchase the regular DS games. 3DS games will not be compatible. The packaging is very similar too.

You can find the games just about anywhere. My kids love their DS systems. My daughter has a 3DS now.

I usually find the best deals for DS games on Amazon, even on used ones. Walmart usually seems to be higher, but maybe that's just my Walmart.

Also on Black Friday Gamestop does the buy 2 get one free used game deal. We've used that deal many times in the past!
