DS and FT Wilderness Carriage Ride

Is it doable to eat early dinner at DS and then make it over to Fort Wilderness in time for a carriage ride? Is there a bus that goes straight to FW from DS or will I have to go back to the Transportation Center and take the boat? Thank you

There is bus transportation between FW & DS. Can't answer you question as if it's doable.

there is a bus from DS to the Fort but you will need to take any color of internal bus to other end of campground.

So we may be better to do DS another time and just take the boat from MK to FW? Does the FW boat drop you off near the carriage area?

Yes, the MK to FW boat docks right at the carriage area. We passed a waiting carriage on our way to Hoop Dee Doo once.
