Dry Skin in the Winter

My skin gets so dry on my face, it peels off like it would after a sunburn. I started using First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Hydrating Serum (along with my usual FAB face wash and moisturizer) and my face has made a complete turn around in just a few weeks.

I also use FAB Ultra Repair Wash and Ultra Repair Cream for my body.

FAB is a little on the pricey side but this is the only product that does not upset my very sensitive skin. You can also find it at Sephora and QVC.

After years of super dry winter skin, I found FAB Ultra Repair Cream three years ago and haven't looked back...until now. It used to be the only thing that would keep dryness away but this year I've found it's not working as well :(

My husband just started using locally made goat soap for winter eczema. Cleared up in a few days. Pretty pricey but will be worth it if it continues to help.

Coconut oil on my face at night. I was shocked at how bright my skin looked the next morning, and there were no bags under eyes. It's so cheap too, for a huge jar from the cooking aisle at Walmart.

When my hands get dry and cracked (I own/work on a farm so am constantly outside an washing my hands), I slather on the cocnut oil and sleep in a pair of gloves (latex/nitrile or even cotton). Feet too. Slather on and then the cotton socks.

O'Keefe's for hands or for feet (BBB and Amazon) does it for me with Nivea cream for my legs and arms. Target even has Nivea cream in neat little containers for travelling. After about age 50 I had to start using creams rather than lotions. Lotions just don't do it anymore.

Must be like my hands, cominations work better than just one product. Although, I don't blend them at the same time. Might have to try that!

I use them separately. Maybe if I mixed them, lol. Create a super moisturizer and rule the world!!!! Wha hahahhahaha.

Do they by chance have a website? I'm always on the hunt for something to help with eczema. If they don't, I looked up "goat soap" and will try a different brand! I always try to stick with "tried and true" first, though. :)

Kearsarge Mountain Soaps and Sundries, Eczema Relief Bar soap. They have lots of other goat soap products too but we specifically get the "eczema relief" bar soap. Just did an order this morning for several months worth of soap.

Found the website! I'll to give some a try. Thank you!

Aveeno (I think works great and it's not greasy), Acquaphor and Eucerin (and everything else mentioned here, water, dehumidifier).
