Hello! Turning to the experts here for any advice on tweaking my current plan in which my goal is to maximize new cardmember sign-up bonus points, along with rewards points, to offset a direct purchase of 150 DVC points at the Poly. I am working through Chase, because I will redeem the points for travel at Hyatt, a Chase travel partner. My plan is to:

1. Have husband sign up for the Chase Ink Preferred for Business card with a sign-up bonus of 90,000 plus 3x/travel, which will earn 114,000 points.
2. Sign up for the Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business card with a sign-up bonus of 200,000 plus 1x/travel (not booked through Chase), which will earn 224,000
3. I paid downpayment and closing costs with Chase for a total of 5155 points

114,000 + 224,000 + 5155 = 343,155 points

If our plan is to redeem credit card points with Hyatt, does anyone have any suggestions how I might further tweak the above plan? I am grateful for any advice!

Do you or your husband currently have any Chase Hyatt, Ink, or Sapphire cards?

Just trying to see what you may be eligible for.

If you have any current Inks you can start referring from them for an additional 20k UR points. A CIP can refer to a CSR Biz card and vice versa.

This is an excellent idea--thank you so much! I have CIP, and I called to see if I could get a referral bonus for my hubby signing up for the CIP (not currently offered), but I didn't ask about the CSR Business card. Thank you--I'm grateful to you for this idea!

The phone reps aren't always the most knowledgable. You can 100% refer CIP to CIP. Navigate to this website and enter your information: https://www.chase.com/referafriend/catch-all

This will generate your referral offer link. Refer your husband from your CIP offer link to his new CIP. (You can have him call and ask for the card to be expedited for free after approval)

Once your husband has his new CIP, navigate to that same website and enter his information from his new CIP. You can refer yourself from his CIP offer link to the CSR Biz (or whatever works best).

DO NOT REFER YOURSELF ON YOUR OWN LINK.

This will be an easy additional 40k UR points

Thank you so much for this advice--I wish it worked on my end! Using the link you posted, I received a referral link to send to my husband, but it did not offer CIP as an option. There was only CSR and the cash-back options. Thank you, though. We'll use the link to get a referral from his CIP to my CSR!
