Dry Case? Where to get one

I was reading in the tips section (in the sticky post above) that people suggest getting a dry case to put their room key/ ID, etc. in for shore excursions. What are these and where do you buythem? Also, are they worn around the neck? Are they good mainly for excursions or do people use them on board as well? Thanks for the help! I'm learning a lot around here!!

They sell them on the ship I think in the $6 range. However, I got mine at Academy for 1.49!

We bought one on our last cruise and it was the best investment. We use it all the time on beach trips, pool outings, etc.

We got ours at our local beach resort, pais about $2 each for them.

We have a few. Thin ones and one a bit thicker. I have purchased them on DCL, OKW Resort and Ron Jon Surf shop. Sometimes you can find them in Target/Walmart. I have definitely seen the tube/type ones there.
