Drury Inn Shuttle in June

Thinking about a quick trip in early June now that they have lifted the black-out dates for Season Pass holders during that month. We can get a great rate at the Drury Inn and it provides breakfast as well as snacks and hot foods in the evening, so that would cut down cost on foods. We've stayed at Drury Inns in other areas and have always been pleased. My number one concern is the shuttle service they provide. I can't seem to find any specific information on it and I have gotten conflicting information from the front desk when I called. We would like to be able to go to the parks in the morning, back to the hotel mid-afternoon, and back to the parks for the last couple of hours. Is this doable with their shuttle service? Anyone have any first hand knowledge?

Thanks!

PS- We do not need express passes for this trip because we are planning to just do site seeing and mostly Harry Potter stuff that express pass won't help with. This is really just a bonus trip because of the change in blackout dates but needs to be economical so we can go back in the Fall as we originally planned when we upgraded to Season Passes.

I can't answer your shuttles question. However, I would guess it's maybe a $5 to $7 Uber ride each way. Just another option to consider.

We have stayed at Drury Inn and took their shuttle once. I remember that we had to make reservations ahead of time to go *to* the parks. I think we took an Uber on our way back because the earliest time you could go back was around 4-something in the afternoon and we didn't want to wait quite that long. So it may not work for you that way. You can take an Uber for about $6 each way. Just be warned that on the way from the parks *to* Drury, Uber's GPS system often wants to take the drivers this really bizarre and inaccurate way that takes you on the Interstate and Turnpike. We had one Uber driver do that, and from then on we were sure to ask the drivers ahead of time if they knew the way to Drury.

Last time I checked for drury inn shuttle hours, I was not impressed with the shuttle schedule hours
for some seasons of the year

Maybe it has changed this year

Last year first shuttle to the parks, arrived near 9 am

The daily shuttle times, don't remember them

Last shuttle back to the hotel made it not possible to hang out in city walk after parks closed

Über might be a better option for some

The food selection time period starts earlier out with drink and snacks
Then hour later shifts to food
Which usually has a decent choice

If you have a long stay, you could spend more time at the hotel if the hotel food time period is important to you by taking the afternoon shuttle back to the hotel

Hotel shuttle service might be online

When I stayed at St Louis Drury Inn, i found shuttle run times and food offerings on their website

Would think Orlando DI would have same format

Are you staying at the hotel at the corner of Sand Lake and Turkey Lake Roads? If so the website says "scheduled" shuttles so making a reservation would make sense. It doesn't show the times but since it's a Universal partner hotel I would imagine the shuttle is easy to use. Their local # is 407 354-1101 so just call them and ask what time the shuttle runs...to AND from the parks.

We did finally manage to call during the time the Universal kiosk was open. The shuttle is scheduled and you must get tickets but it sounds doable for us along with using Uber as a backup plan. Thanks all!
