Drudge Report, why do 'they' hate it so much?

I read a study that said The Drudge Report was only right 27% of the time. After that I quit reading anything that came from him. I would rather be right 73%.

My point was that Drudge did a "Bush uses cocaine" story and no one felt the need to drag it over here as a separate thread. Despite the fact that there was an anti Kerry story on the very same Drudge page that did earn a thread here. In fact, that is the only way I happened to know about the cocaine story, from following the link left here by the anti Kerry person. So, no, not having been posted here as a separate thread, it does not count.

To those who are so convinced that the anti Bush threads equal the anti Kerry threads, I suggest you go back a few pagers and do some counting and see how off your perceptions can be.

Actually they was a BUSH Uses COCAINE / FIRST FAMILY thread, but it was more than a few pagers (sic) back!

I think it's pretty much a given that Drudge readers tend to be on the conservative side. Actually expecting an anti-Bush story to make it's way from Drudge would be akin to an anti-Kerry story making it's way here from commondreams or somewhere like that.

I believe you can go back more than a few pages and take a snapshot of any 2-4-7-14 day period over the last year or so and you'll find instances where there are more anti-Bush threads and you'll also find instances where there are more anti-Kerry threads. 50-50? 60-40? Who knows but it's not that big a difference.

But I can see how you would perceive otherwise. The last few days there have certainly been more anti-Kerry threads. And after all, you've only been around a short time, eh?

Edited to add: Come to think of it, are there any anti-Kerry stories on commondreams? Drudge may have one up on them.
