My 16 year old daughter is in Florida with a friend's family for Spring break. They are planning on dropping the girls off at the a Magic Kingdom tomorrow while the parents visit another area attraction. Where would they be allowed to drop them off? Do they need to go to the TTC, or could they drive to the Contemporary to drop them off, and the girls could walk from there? The girls will need to buy tickets. Can they do that at the MK gate?

This family doesn't have much experience with WDW, and tends to fly by the seat of their pants on vacation. I just want to make sure they don't spend all morning driving around trying to figure out where to drop the girls off!

Thanks!

TTC would be where Disney would want them dropped off. Yes tickets can be purchased at the gate. Hope they have a great time!

They could drop them off at the resort the car would have to say we are checking out the hotel or looking to get a room. They could also drop them off Magic kingdom drop-off which I believe the girls would then need to just take the boat to MK Drop them off and then leave. Yes tickets can be purchased outside the gate

Where is the MK drop-off? Is that at the TTC?
The Guest Drop-Off is just past the TTC on Seven Seas Drive. If you follow signs to the Polynesian Resort, it is the driveway just before the Polynesian. The small inset picture shows the driveway and the road sign which reads, "Guest Drop-Off Next Right" If you come up World Drive, you have to go through the MK Toll Booths, but you don't have to pay. You must go to one of the Toll Booths closest to the right side, and tell the CM you're going to the Polynesian. Just past the Toll Booth you'll see the road on the right. Get on that road (continuation of World Drive) and go straight ahead. Make a left at the first signal light onto Seven Seas Drive. To exit the Guest Drop-Off, turn towards the Polyesian and go to the end of the street. Turn left onto Floridian Way. This is also the exit road from the MK lot and you'll pass the familiar Car Care Center, then the road merges onto World Drive heading south.

Or they could just say, "We're dropping off some people". You know, the truth ;)
