Dropping off at WDW- pay for parking?

We will be staying offsite and have a rental car. One day, dh will not be going to the parks. If he drives us to the parks, can he drop us off/pick us up and not pay for parking to get in? Will he be able to drop us off anywhere near the gates?

No problem. The booth attendant will even give you directions to the drop off area if you ask. Then you drive on and make your way there.

For Magic Kingdom use one of the booths near the right. Bear right at the big fork just past the toll booths and take the next possible left at a traffic light. The drop off area is a little ways down this road and near the concourse where you catch the monorail or ferry.

For the MK, have your DH drop you off at the CR guard kiosk, it's a short walk from there to the MK turnstiles, approx 10 minutes.
