So we are driving to WDW next weekend. Driving from Indiana to FL and I was wondering how the roads are in Georgia? Heard alot about the awful flooding they are having. Hope all is well for our GA disers. Any advice on road conditions or is travel ok.

We are leaving next week also, driving from Kansas. I have been scouring the internet trying to find out this exact answer. If any one can give us an update that would be great! Especially of any major highways/roads washed away. thanks!!!

I'm going to move this over to our transportation board. I'm sure our experts over there will have some great advice.

From what I understand I-75 is good all the way through. So you'll need to come over to I-75 up in TN, say on I-40.

I-20 West of Atlanta is the road that is flooded. So don't take I-65 down to B'ham and expect to take I-20 to Atlanta.

Thank you for the updates. I'm sure that water will be pretty much gone by this time next week when we leave, but I'm definitly concerned about the damage to the roads in the aftermath. From where I am I can take an alternate route and drive south into Texas and then along the coast, but the kids really want to see the Arch in St. Louis and the Smokey Mts. instead of the plain flat midwest that we are used too. ;) I will be definitly checking the reccomended sites. Thanks again!;)
