driving to PPH and DLH from good neighbor hotel

i currently have PSs for goofy's kitchen and lilo & stitch's breakfast...both for 7:30am on different mornings. we will be staying at the tropicana...and i was thinking of driving to DLH and PPH on these mornings...park there at the hotel...enjoy a great breakfast...and then drive back to tropicana.

i'm guessing this is possible...but what i'm wondering about parking costs?! is the parking free? do i pull a ticket and get it validated? any thoughts?

i just figured since they are early ressies that it'd be easier on everyone if we could drive there rather than walk....

There is a parking fee at the PPH but I cant remember how much, their valets seemed to look after the parking...but that is just what I saw of the hotel

But I think when you eat there, you do get free parking for that time.


I was trying to write out the directions to park, but it all fell apart b/c I don't know that the hotel guest directions are proper for parking while eating. Someone else will have to chime in on that!

But if you do decide to walk, you just cross Harbor, go through to DTD, and all the way up to DLH or take your choice of ways to get to PPH (cut through the GCH by turning left after Sephora and follow the path into the hotel, through the hotel, out of the hotel, and out the driveway, across the street OR follow through DTD, turn left at DLH, and follow signs). Simpler than it sounds, I promise.

thanks for the input! i think i may end up cancelling lilo & stitch and save it for another trip. right now, we're doing goofy's, ariel's, and lilo & stitch. it's a lot in 3 1/2 days! and that's just character meals. i've also got PSs for cafe orleans and carnation cafe!

i'll call DLH to find out about parking while having breakfast at goofy's kitchen!

You could take a taxi ~ we've done this in the past for an early Character Meal. That way when you're done you could go straight to the parks not having to worry about getting the car back to your hotel. Shouldn't cost more than $10 (incl. tip)


I agree ~ that is a bit much as far as meals are concerned ~ but we did 2 in 1 day earlier this month (this day was a non park day for us) L & S for a late breakfast and Goofy's for dinner. We also have several character meals during our upcoming WDW trip! We get Free Dining!

just called DLH. free parking is available with a validated parking ticket...free for 4 hours. that's plenty of time for us. so that's what we'll do...drive to DLH for our 7:30am goofy's PS.

Its very easy to drive there and yes as you were told it is free to park at both. Just take your ticket in and they will validate it. I love both of those breakfasts and would probably just do both, but that's just me! We have been known to do three or four character meals in a trip, we really enjoy them and we have to eat so its a nice way to save time with getting character autographs and interaction.

Allow about 20 minutes to drive and park and check in for your reservation time.
