Driving to MK??

OK, it's entirely possible that I am wrong, but I swear I remember that when we went to MK 2 years ago, we got there very early, and parked in front of the gates. Am I totally wrong? Maybe I was thinking of MGM? Not AK, I know. Maybe Epcot? I know that I parked right in the front row of one of the parks, and I would have sworn it was MK??

Someone tell me if you can park right by MK, or if you have to take a monorail or boat, please? And thanks!

In order to get from the MK parking lot to the MK, you have to take the tram to the ferry or monorail to get to the front gate. Perhaps you were thinking of the Disney Studios? Hope this helps.

No private vehicles can drive or park near the Magic Kingdom. Only Disney buses unload and load at the bus stops near the park entrance.

You can get fairly close to the gates @ Epcot. Also, up until a few years ago you could park in the first row at MGM if you got there early. They changed the resort Bus area & the tour Bus parking at MGM a couple of years ago so now you have to park a little further out, but still pretty close.
