Driving to FL, Cruise and Post Trip Stay... Leaving Car

Hopefully this is the right board....

We are driving down to Orlando and staying 1 day at a resort and going to take the transfers from Hotel to Cruise and then from Cruise to DVC Villa post trip. Does anyone know if I am able to leave the car at the resort or leave it at the post trip resort in order for it to be there when we get back.

I am guessing I should just call the hotel property to be sure but wanted to get some experts advice. Has anyone else done something like this before?

Hopefully this answers your question. If you were staying at a non-disney hotel pre-cruise, I would call that hotel directly.

Have you considered driving to Port Canaveral and parking there? There are options:
1. parking directly at port...usually $15 a day
2. parking off site..usually $5-7 a day depending on their specials

We stayed at the Radisson and parked our vehicle there earlier this month, but there is also http://parkcruise.com/.

It may save you money...as Disney charges for the transfers to port (not Magical Express).

Thanks everyone for your help. Will consider driving to the port. Then I wont have to worry about transportation back. It will save considerable amount of money I think. We are a family of 5.

It's really a no brainer to drive the car to Port - easy drop off the luggage and then park the car.

You can park at the Radisson right by the Port for $5.95/day. We just did that a few weeks ago and it worked out beautifully.
