Driving to each park

I'm sure you meant "lurking" and not "trolling" ;). Lurkers are nice, Trolls are not! I hope that you post more often.

I don't think you have a thing to worry about. The bus transportation at CBR is great, even with 2 small children. My soon to be 4 year old DD is fine waiting for the bus and riding it is one of her favorite things to do. That doesn't mean that I take the bus to every park. I will always take the bus to the Magic Kingdom and I never take the bus to Animal Kingdom. It's a toss-up between buses and driving for Epcot and MGM.

The busses at CBR run great!

That said, we still drive a lot to the parks. In the stroller days, especially during low season, like your timing, it's a pretty easy walk to AK, MGM, and Epcot so you don't have to use the trams. Frankly, dealing with the stroller on the bus was always my worst nightmare!!! So I'd usually just reserve that for MK.

Also, we'd sometimes want to stop at McD's on the way back. Or, depending on the resort, I'd stop at the food court, then drive back to the room. (If you're a food court mugger, you can leave the mug in the car, not carry at the resort, or have to go back to your room to get it first.)

One thing for sure, it's nice to have the option.

In MHO, take a bus to MK since you get front gate service. I also like bus to DS/MGM since the parking lot is far if you aren't there early or later in the day. My kids are 7 &4 and they don't mind the buses - we play games (like name that disney character!) and enjoy the air conditioning and rest. My DH on the other hand, can't stand the buses and insists on using the car (we usually drive from GA)- but we are even renting one when we fly in December.

As with everything disney, everyone has a humble opinion!

Enjoy yourself!:p

Wow! Everyone has given me lots of good advice! Sounds like we will start out using the bus system (my first choice), but if things are going really badly, can always start using the car. DH and I have never been to Disney and getting REALLY excited about taking the twins (B/G).

We get a car for 3 primary reasons. 1) We feel our kids are much safer in their carseats than standing on a bus. 2) We can get to the grocery store at our convenience. 3) We can leave the parks whenever we need to and go immediately back to our room. DS has asthma and waiting 15 minutes for a bus can be an eternity. We have a power inverter that can run his nebulizer off a car battery if we're really desperate. Yeah, I guess another reason we like the car is that we can use the car as a sort of locker and keep a bunch of stuff in it. DH or I can run out if necessary to grab something.

That doesn't mean we haven't taken WDW transportation, just that we prefer the car.
