Driving to Disney?

Who from Pennsylvania has driven to Disney? How long did it take you? Did you make any stops along the way.....hotel, bathroom, eating? I want to hear everything!!! Thank you in advance!!!!

we drove 81 from ny-pa and stayed a night in Va then we stayed a night in Ga then drove to Orlando.. Then on the way home we drove 95-to nj in one day . we left wdw at 12 am and arrived in NJ at 9pm the traffic on 95 was crazy. I personally think it is better to drive at night. We did both and found that leaving at night was better. We had so much fun . we packed a cooler and had a lunnch at the rest stops along the way.

Well, I'm not from PA but pretty darn close. We live in Wilmington, De so I'm just a bit south of Philadelphia. We've driven 5 times . . . trip #6 in just a few days! We like to leave in the early a.m. (between 2 and 4) to get through DC before the traffic really gets kicking down there. We do the bulk of the driving the first day . . . we've stopped several different places. First time in Savanah, GA since then we've gotten more comfortable with the drive and we usually get into FL staying in Jacksonville (2-3 more hours to Disney) or even closer in Lake Mary (45 minutes to Disney). We've done it overnight and it's just not for us although I know others like it that way. We usually stop for breakfast around 8 and then have a picnic lunch along the way. SC has picnic tables at their rest stops. There is no gas on I-95 so you have to exit for that. It usually takes us about 17-18 hours.
