Driving to disney from pittsburgh looking for a place to stay by I- 95??

We drive from the Poconos, PA everytime. If we drive straight through it is about 16 hours. The one year we went, DH's parents went and they didn't want to drive straight through, so we ended up getting a room at the Hampton Inn the next exit after the South of the Border. It was clean and had a couple of food places close by the hotel. Good luck finding a place. You might be better off leaving around 12-1 in the morning and that should put you in Orlando by around 4-5 in the afternoon.

thank you everyone for the suggestions. i have checked a few of the hotels. we were hoping for a rate around $40 or $50 most of the nice hotels seem to be more than that. anyone know of any discounts on any of these hotels??? thanks again.

Have you tried Priceline? We booked our Brunswick, GA hotel thru them. Total cost was around $45. We were only looking for a place to get a few hours of sleep and a shower so all we need is clean beds and hot water. I could see paying $100+ for that!

I have stayed at the Red Roof Inn, Savannah GA exit 94. Indoor corridors, so no one walking by your room. The breakfast was nothign to write home about, though. I booked directly on their website where they were having a Red Hot Deal on it. We paid less than $50, but that was maybe 4 years ago.

We like the LaQuinta at Exit 102 in Pooler, GA. It is brand new and they have a great breakfast buffet.

thanks again everyone for posting. i would love to drive straight through but between the kids, my husband, and my mother i dont think we could make it. i am going to check out priceline. alot of the places suggested look great but we are trying to stay on a budget. thanks again.
