Driving route Nashville to Orlando?

On our first WDW trip, last year, we flew to Orlando. I'm just wondering if any of you have driven from Nashville (we're actually in Bowling Green, KY, but directions from Nashville are easy enough) to Orlando? We'd probably do most of the drive the first day, flipping it on the way back. About how long does it take? Where's the best place to stay overnight?

We drive from St. Louis and no matter what route we choose out of St. Louis we end up in Nashville. From there we'll head down to Atlant and down. From St. Louis, we hope to get south of Atlanta for our first night's stay. How long it takes, I'm not exactly sure as this is my first trip to Disney as an adult.

In December, we are doing Nashville to Jacksonville, because we like to stay over the night before and arrive at WDW early in the day (we are DVC members, so it seems like a big waste to arrive at night). This is not the most direct route possible, but we're staying on points at a beach place in the Jax area, so it was easy to rationalize the slight diversion. We've also stayed in Gainesville or Ocala areas the night before arriving.
