driving route dilemma-help please!

Hi. Just posted on the Transportation board and hoping maybe someone here can help as well.
We're leaving to Orlando in a couple of days and driving down. The route we were planning on taking was the 81 South from Gananoque
to the 66 in Virginia to the 95.
Another route we were told that is beautiful and easygoing is the 81S to the 77 to the 26 to the 95. My concern is ongoing road construction on the 77-anyone recently use this route? Can you tell me which route you prefer and why? Thanks for your help.

Oret, if you are a CAA member, have you tried a TripTik? They are usually pretty good for construction info. You might be able to get one if you live near a CAA office.
I would choose the 81, 77, 26 and 95. We used this route in March (not recently sorry) and liked it much better than 81, 66, 95.
