Driving Question from Toll Road off I75

I posted this over on the Transportation Board but thought I would post it here also since this is more heavily traveled.

Has anyone exited off the Toll Road at Highways 27 or 545 and taken them to 192 to WDW instead of going to I4 and around? If so, what is it like and does it save any time?

When we drove to WDW in 2000, it seemed that there was such an awlful lot of traffic going into Orlando off of the Toll Road and onto I4 and it was on a Sunday afternoon.

I thought that maybe one of those roads might be a little less traveled. Any thoughts on this?

We've gone 27 to 192.

It SEEMS like a long drive. You're also going to hit a lot of stoplights... if you're in a hurry, I'd stick to the toll road. If you don't mind taking your time, and regular traffic doesn't bother you, give the alternate a try.

I don't think it saves any time, but it might save a little $.
