Driving myself crazy!

I am booked at POFQ for November. I love the looks of the resort and think it will be wonderful for us. We are celebrating our anniversary and I want everything to be amazing!

Anyway I originally wanted POR but there was no standards available at the time I booked. I looked today just for fun and there is rooms available now.

So now I am wondering if I should switch or not. Also for fun I was looking at some of the other resorts and in the back of my mind I wonder about those as well!

It will be a semi- budgeted trip so I would not go higher than a moderate unless some awesome offer comes along. I am also hoping for some discount soon!

Anyone else ever do this? Any thoughts on the moderate resorts?

POFQ is fantastic. We stayed there the last 2 years and I don't think I would ever stay at another moderate than that. We are staying at the Poly this year, but only because my DH really wanted to stay at a monorail resort. I would have been perfectly happy to go back to POFQ.

We stayed at POFQ last Nov for our 10th anniv and it was perfect! We loved it so much we went back again in March and it will continue to be our 1st choice.

We love the small intimate feel. The cm's really got to know us and always yelled a hello as we passed by. Some even remembered us when we came back in March. The boat to DTD can't be beat and there's only 1 bus stop. POR is pretty, but it has 4 stops and seemed huge the few times we made the loop after being picked up at POFQ (they usually don't share). We might walk to POR for a visit, but will stick with POFQ.

DH and I did a trip to POFQ in January without the kids. It was a beautiful resort! We have stayed at PORS and ASMu, POFQ was our favorite. We loved it so much we booked another trip in Sept and are staying there again. I think you'll be pleased with your choice

I always think POR is a little more on the "romantic" side than FQ. We never actually stayed IN FQ, it's just the vibe I got from walking around. I LOVE the boat ride to DTD from here though!!! It's so nice! We also found CBR to be really great. I don't know if we went during a slow time or what, but it was SO QUITE AND RELAXING. I would try and stay away from CSR just because it's usually big on conventions and not "as romantic."

The mods all have an option to pay for a king bed, so be sure to do that unless you want two doubles!

Many people would be jealous because many posts are people who are settling for POR because there was no room left at the smaller POFQ. We like POFQ for exactly that reason. At POR you could end up way out there.

I tend to over think things sometimes. So far from what I have seen and heard POFQ is exactly what I am looking for.

It's harder for me because when we vacation we usually stay in a rental home or apartment so going to a resort hotel will be a big change for us.
