Driving license and car hire

Hi, we havnt been since 2014. We still have paper driving licenses this was fine in 2014, has anything changed since then when hiring a car at Disney car care centre.

We are staying on site most of the holiday but are spending 5 days at Key Largo so need a car. I am worrying as I don't want to be in a position of not being able to hire a car.

Any up to date information would be most helpful.

Officially, they could ask for the DVLA Pin thing, but I've had or seen that happen.

They just like to see the photocard.

You will be fine with a paper licence. There have been no reports of being asked for the DVLA pin, since it was introduced.

ETA: Because there is no photo on the paper licence, you may be asked for photo ID but that's fine as you will have your passport with you so can use that.
