Driving LAX-ONT

Sorry OT but I need help from California folks...I have to attend an event in ONT in a few months and the fares are double from the east cost to ONT vs. LAX.
It's been a looong time since I drove a rental car out of LAX. How long is the drive from LAX to ONT in "average" (ha ha) traffic?

Fly into LAX and drive to your meeting in Ontario. The traffic is not that bad, especially if your airfare will save you 1/2. Of course, you know to avoid the commuter time - 2PM - 5PM. And, don't try to get back over to LAX early in the morning for a flight. Really - it's not that bad. Good luck!!!

I used to make that drive twice a week. During the afternoon hours, 3 until 6 or so, it can take from 1.5 - 2 hours during the weekdays. Monday's are the lightest traffic days (in the afternoon) and Friday's are the worst. In the morning, traffic is flowing east to west so it would probably only take you maybe an hour from LAX to Ontario. Hope this helps!
