We will be leaving for Aulani next Thurs, and will have a rental car the whole week.

So our plan for Sat is to drive to Pearl Harbor, see the Iolani Palace, eat lunch at the Yard House, go to the swap meet at Aloha Stadium and eat dinner at Dukes

On Sun, we are planning on driving back to Honolulu, eat at Shorebird Grill at the Outrigger Reef, go to the PunchBowl, then Diamond Head, see the Halona Blowhole, the Makapuu Lighthouse and eat at Kona Pub.

So can anyone give me advice on parking at any or all of these places? This is our 1st time in Hawaii so any help would be great!

There is a parking garage near the Outrigger Waikiki and Duke's will validate your parking for three hours I think. There is parking at Diamond Head I'm fairly sure and parking at Aloha Stadium. Otherwise, you're kind of all over the map. You will have to research some parking around town.

The Waikiki Banyan Condos have a public use lot that is $20 for 24 hours with in and out privileges. We just used it last week instead of the valet service at the Hyatt Place because I had read it was a very slow valet and had many reports of damage done to rental cars. It is on fairly main artery called Kuhio but it is toward the Diamond Head end of the beach so it may not be ideal for Iolani Palace but it is good for Dukes.

and this article outlines some other parking options in Waikiki.

Pearl Harbor has their own parking for the memorial, so that shouldn't be a problem. Iolani Palace has metered parking if you are lucky to find a spot (and I think those spots are free on weekends). Aloha Stadium parking will be included in your admission ($1 per person if I remember correctly). Any parking in/around Waikiki will be the hardest/most expensive. If you park by the zoo you could do their $1/hour parking and walk to many places in Waikiki, depending on how much walking you're ok with.

Parking at Diamond Head can be very tight, depending on time of day and other events going on nearby. There is a small lot inside the crater, and a community college about 1/2 mile away near the access road. The day we were there, the community college had some event and the lot was packed. So be prepared to walk up the access road and through the tunnel into Diamond Head crater before you get to the trail itself.

I don't have any great parking advice, but that seems like a lot to do in two days! You definitely have more energy than we had in Hawaii!! I will say that people here have commented that the swap meet can wrap up early afternoon, so that is something to consider.

Have you actually mapped out what you're planning on? You're going from the Arizona - which is basically across the street Aloha Stadium, downtown for Iolani, then into Waikiki for Yard House (totally not worth it) , then back up to the swap meet, then back down into Waikiki for Dukes, which is walking distance from where you were at the Yard House.

Parking is the least of your worries, honestly. There's no way you're getting the Arizona in, tour Iolani, eat lunch, and then get back to the swap meet before it closes at 3. No way.

Diamond head has parking but fills up. There is lots of free parking down the road. But you still have to pay to get in. Not much. I parked farther down that way it seemed like I wasn't cheating on climbing diamond head. Another if you go to Waikiki. Waikiki parking is outrageous I went there twice one time I parked at the mall. Can't think of the name right now. Second time I parked into the park outside of the mall. Both free parking. One time I walked to Waikiki another time I took the bus. Enjoy

Thanks for all the replies! I think we have mapped out where and when we need to be in places. As for Iolani Palace, we are just wanting to see the outside, not tour. Son sees it it on Hawaii Five O so thought it may be cool to see.

Leaving tomorrow and can't wait!!
