Hi There,
We are planning on driving to Orlando from Kansas City in November and I am looking at hotels to stop at in Clarksville, TN (or surrounding area). Im not too picky but am preferring obviously something clean with decent staff.

I've looked at Best Western, Comfort Inn and Country Inn and Suites (yes I have read TripAdvisor), but I was hoping someone has had any experience with any of these hotels, or has any better recommendations?

I haven't used any of the hotels you mentioned in Clarksville, but just wanted to let you know that Nashville, TN is only about 30 minutes past there so a bigger selection of hotels. I've stayed in a couple near the airport, easy access and near the Opry Mills Mall, which has a Rainforest Cafe, Aquarium restaurant and when we were there last Christmas, they had a Disney outlet store. I know if you want more info about the Opry Mills Mall you can google it and it'll come up easy enough. You could also google the hotels in Nashville by looking at the tourism site for the city.

I recently stayed at the Country Inn and Suites. It's clean, has free wireless internet, an indoor pool off the lobby and a very tasty complimentary full breakfast. It's right off the highway. The rest of Clarksville is nothing special (I have no idea why the Monkey's were so interested in meeting the last train there) and Nashville is only 40 minutes further south but it's a fine place to stay for the night.

Thank you much! I looked into Nashville (Poor Opryland Amusement Park!) but the prices seemed almost twice as high as Clarksville. We will probably end up staying at the Country Inn & Suites or Fairfield Inn.
