Driving from western NY, need advice

With airfares so high we are thinking of driving to WDW for our Aug. trip. We will be driving from Western NY, from the Rochester area. I'm looking for some advice from those that have made this journey in the past. Also if you plan on making this trip, what are your game plans? It will be myself, DW,DS(16), DD(9). Obviously we will be spliting this trip up into two days of driving(to help keep all of our sanity). Thanks for the help.

Have you checked Vision Airlines from Niagara Falls? They're flying to Florida with some really cheap fares. You might have to fly into an alternative airport down here but if you were going to rent a car anyway if you flew, it might not matter where you flew into.
