driving from Philadelphia where to stop for night?

thanks all my original plan was to stop at a flying j get some sleep, get up and go in the morning, still sounds like the plan. we just got the NEXT EXIT what a cool book! this is our first trip and we winging it thanks again for all the advice. see you there

We live in Mechanicsburg (near Harrisburg). There is a very nice, clean KOA in Florence, South Carolina. That is just a little over half-way for us.

We drive from PA, too. But you are 2 hours closer to FW than we are! We like to stay at a KOA in Fayetteville, NC. It won't be 2/3 of the trip down for you, but it could help you on the way home!

We drive from Delaware - and last year stayed at Fayetteville KOA. What we found was this left too long of a drive for the 2nd day for the kids. This year we're staying at Rocky Mount KOA and then Savannah South KOA.
