Driving...from Pennsylvania

So me and my girlfriend have decided we would like to drive it when we go in December. Anyone from the northeast done it before? Best route to take?

Check out the 2,000+ mile round trip Thread. I guess it depends on where in PA you're coming from

We're from Western New York and we either go 15 down through Williamsport to Harrisburg where we pick up 81 to 66 to 17 (we do this to avoid DC) to 95 OR we head west on 90 and go down through Erie/Pittsburgh on 79 into West Virginia to 19 to 77 to 26 to 95.

We drive from the Philly area to WDW atleast once/year and its not a bad ride if you time it right, especially around Washington DC area! We leave around 6pm at night and drive right through the night, only stopping for gas and bathroom breaks, we switch drivers half way down so my husband can sleep for a few hours. We usually arrive in Disney by 1030am, and are ready to start our day! We have kids to and they sleep overnight in the car and are entertained with the DVD player, games and snacks in the car during the ride! Like I said its not a bad right if you time it right!!!

DEFINITELY come on over to the 2000+ round trip drivers thread. I think the majority of posters are from PA or NJ, then rounded out to NY/New England, Chicago, Texas or Indiana!!

You can get tips down to the intersection, I think.

We've been driving from PA since 1994 and we love it.
