We are driving to Disney in August. We are thinking of stoping overnight somewhere in GA. Maybe Savanah. Can anyone suggest a nice clean hotel along 95? We are a family of six so we need either two rooms or a suite.
Thanks!

Hotels a little farther South....

Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn, Marriott Courtyard, Exit 38 (Brunswick, GA)

Hampton Inn, La Quinta Inn, Exit 3 (Kingsland, GA)

There are some sketchy hotels down my way....

In Savannah, there's a pretty new Hampton Inn at the Airport Exit, and several Hotels a little farther South at the Hunter Army Airfield Exit....but I really don't know much about those...

We are in Cape May county and we stop in Savannah at exit 94. There is a bunch of hotels right off the exit and some have several restaurants within walking distance. We get a room at the Springhill suites that sleeps 5 and is under $100 with taxes. It was really clean and the staff was super nice when we went in Dec. We drive down every Dec and we love it.

We stopped the first time we drove. Hated it. We drive straight through any more. Of course we can all drive so taking turns makes it easier.

We drive every Nov. to WDW. We used to stop in Santee SC @ a Holiday Inn which was nice or Clarke Inn.( about 6 hr. away from WDW) Past few years we have been doing the 17hr. drive straight thru  this year I told DH we are stopping overnight again so I am looking at Georgia area just to be a little closer.( 4hrs) So I am taking some of posters advice too!

Thank you everyone for your advice.
I would like to try and drive straight through, but my DH does most of the driving and he doesn't want to try it. I also don't think the kids could handle it. The furthest we drive in one shot was 11 hours and they were dying.
We are thinking of trying the Clarion Inn off exit 94.
