Driving from MA to FL

Has anyone did this? I'm wondering what the total cost was for gas. We plan on driving straight thru to Orlando from Boston.... TIA

The airfare that I paid for our last vacation was almost $1800.00 for my family of 4 and I'd like to save some money by driving.

We just did this in October. We took the Yukon..Ill look up how much we spent on gas....

We drove from north of Boston (almost NH) and the total distance is about 1300 miles.

Divide 2600 by the MPG of your vehiclex $2.00/gallon gas and you will have the cost of driving. Add about $10 each way for tolls

Yep, we've done it twice from Hartford - once straight through about 8 years ago and more recently for Thanksgiving and stopped one night each way. We spent about $400 on gas this past trip, and that was our Santa Fe towing our pop up camper. If we had a third driver we'd do straight through again, but since there are two of us, stopping for an overnight was really great and helped us to stay fresh and have a fun time. On the way down we left home around 3 am and stayed overnight in South Carolina and hit WDW around lunchtime the next day. On the way back we left around 11:00 am and stayed overnight in North Carolina.

One thing I'd never do again, though, is do the drive over Thanksgiving. That drive home on Sunday was horrendous once we hit NJ. And the weather was iffy, so we didn't want to try going up through PA.

You'll get your cost.
Gas is around 1.80 here. Probably averages close to that all the way down.
