Driving from GF to Contemporary?

Does anyone know how to get to the Contemporary from GF? We will be driving our own car and the monorail will not be running early enough for our ADR. Do I have to go like I am going to HS and make a u-turn in the area of the toll booths for the parking lot?

You'll have to go past the toll booths, and take the 2nd U-turn. It's a 2-way crossover just past a couple of trees in the median, before the Epcot exit.

The U-turn at the CCC & toll booths goes only into the MK parking lot. And unfortunately there's no entry to CR from 7 Seas or left turn from southbound World Dr., so you can't go straight across TTC or around the back of MK from GF.

If you miss the crossover, you can continue to the Coronado Springs/BB exit, turn left at the end of the ramp, and then the first left back onto World Dr. towards the MK.

- Turn left onto Seven Seas Drive. Proceed past the Poly and TTC to the intersection of Seven Seas Drive and World Drive.

- Turn Left onto World Drive and proceed to the CR.​

There appears to be left turn lanes at both of these intersections. And I drove from the GF to the CR on my last trip and I don't think I had to drive all the way out to the U-Turn and go through the MK parking booths.

I'm sorry ...yes, you are right!

I was confusing 7 Seas with the MK bus exit.

The CR entrance is directly opposite the MK bus exit, not 7 Seas. So turning left on World Dr. from 7 Seas, one would be approaching CR from the south, which is the way to enter.

Yes that is the correct route and there are turn lanes for that.

For the truly adventurous you can also go the other way when leaving the GF and go around the back of the MK to get over to the Contemporary.

No you can't, because you cannot make a left turn into the Contemporary Resort from World Drive.
