Driving from Charleston to Orlando with teens...Which Beach?

I'm driving to Disneyworld with my two teenagers and we want to spend a day/night at the beach on the way. Which beach do you recommend? Any resorts especially nice? I would love an amazing pool. Is it worth it to drive down to Vero Beach?

I'm looking to spend around $300 for the night at the hotel/resort.

Amelia island plantation is wonderful on the way down, also hammock beach resort in palm coast right off I-95 is beautiful! I highly recommend both of them.
