We're not huge DTD fans, so this isn't a huge issue, but just a quick question:

Do you all agree that the best way to get from the BWI to DTD is by using our own car? If we go once during our stay, that will definitely satisfy us.

Thanks -

Usually driving is better. However, with the construction going on at DTD, a significant portion of the self parking is unavailable and you sometimes have to park at distant lots and ride a shuttle in. To me, that negates the time savings of driving yourself.

I forgot about the construction. Maybe get a cab.

Just take the bus. BW is the last stop before DTD; it's only a 15 minute ride. The only concern is if the bus fills up at the other Epcot resorts before reaching BW.

On the way back, board the bus at PI instead of Marketplace; that can save 10-15 minutes. Unless you're returning peak time (later in the evening), when the buses may fill up at Marketplace. If it looks too crazy, you can always try to grab a cab home.

I would say take a cab over, then catch a bus back. The cab means no bus wait, saves time, and the bus is usually pretty full when it reaches BW anyway on the Epcot loop. Plus, no detour back through the OKW area to get to Marketplace.

Taking the bus back, you can get off at the Swan to shorten your transpo time by walking over the bridge to BW, or stay on and ride around to BW proper. Fairly direct route coming back.

IMHO that's how I would do it, if I didn't didn't want to drive my car due to the construction issue and limited parking.
