Pretty simple.

I can't decide what to do. Some days I lean one way some days the other. Well I have to either buy my tickets or not.

Anybody out there from Richmondish go through this thought process already and share their thoughts and decisions.

It would cost about 700-800 dollars for 2 to fly from RIC. Driving would 5 or 6tanks of gas.

Time, I figure 6.5 hours of travel time door to door flying. Driving, maybe 11 hours.

Having a car would be nice to travel around the resorts for dinner and such.

I just don't know........please share your thoughts.

Thanks
Jason

When are you going? Airtran is usually a decent price if you book at least a month out. I live in C'ville and it's less expensive for me to leave from Richmond most of the time even adding the cost of parking versus being dropped off.
I would rather not drive. Too much wasted time, I want to get there quickly.

I live in Ricnmond and I find it cheeper to fly out of Dulles. The best air I have seen to MCO from Richmond was $200 ns from RIC on Delta. I waited to long on that and it went up. So I am flying out of Dulles for $150 rt. I have never seen any great deals on Airtran but maybe it is just my timing.

On the other hand my friends always drive to Norfolk to fly South West to MCO. They seem to offer good Ding's out of Norflok.

If I had a week instead of just 5 days I would definatly drive down. I love having a car in WDW and I don't think the drive is to bad. We also drove every vacation when I was a kid, so a 12 - 15 hr drice to WDW is nothing.
